We have a new name! DENILIQUIN RSL IRON JACK FISHING CLASSIC
Mark your calendars for February 16th-18th, 2018
2018 marks the 21st year of this wonderful event. We have a massive prize pool of over $80,000 for the weekend.
The Major prize for 2018 is a Clark 427 Estuary Pursuit with a whopping 40hp Suzuki motor & Dunbier Trailer.

We are super excited to have Boats & More on board with us again for 2018, they have been a great sponsor and will again have an amazing display of their products over the weekend of the Classic.

The weekend kicks off on Friday 16th Feb with the PRIZE ARAMA draw at t he Deni RSL. Tickets are on sale from 5pm with the draw commencing at 7.30pm. The total prize pool for the Prize arama is $16,000 and includes a Clark 375 Predator and 15hp Suzuki Motor (separate prizes)

Fishing will commences at 6am on Saturday 17th Feb.

Joins us at Fishing HQ Saturday evening for a fun filled night with plenty of giveaways. The $5 Raffle Boat and Early Bird Boat draws will take place (early bird – for all those that register between 1st Nov 2017 – 6pm, 12th Feb 2018)

There will be LIVE MUSIC, KIDS ACTIVITIES, our famous YABBY RACES, FOOD COURT and BAR FACILITIES and SO MANY PRIZES TO BE WON.

Champion Angler section.

The fish just get bigger and bigger with Doris Mills surpassing the last few years winners with 950cm cod.

Brad Smith was 2014 champion Angler with a 870mm Cod caught on a lure winning the trophy (Harry the Cod) from 2013 champion angler John Farren-Price with his 775mm cod and 2012 winner Lyndsay Jefferies with a 75cm cod on a yabby.

Dr John Conallin from the CMA gives the crowd a demonstration of how the Electro boat is used to catch fish for research.
